  • Welcome to Mr McGuinness

    We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new member of staff Mr Conor McGuinness. Mr McGuinness will be teaching 3rd & 4th class this year.  We hope he will be very happy in Scoil Moibhi Milverton. 
  • Children's Church Choir

    Wed 13 Sep 2017

    Practice will resume this Friday, 15th September from 4:30pm-5:30pm in the Church.  Registration for new members, boys and girls, from 1st class and up, will be at 4:15pm before practice.

     

    Particularly welcome are those making their 1st Communion or Confirmation this Year.

  • Pupil Personal Accident Form

    It has been brought my attention that the wrong version of the Pupil Personal Accident Application Form 2017/2018 was given out with the newsletter.  The correct form will be given out tomorrow or alternatively is available on the parents area of the website.  

     

    The deadline for receipt of forms is Friday 22nd of September.

  • Skerries Community College Open Night for 6th Class

    Skerries Community College are holding an open night on Wednesday, 27th September 2017 for 6th class students in their feeder schools. The time for pupils of Milverton School is from 6:00-7:00pm.
  • Farewell to Fr Paul Glennon

    It is with great sadness that we say farewell to Fr Paul Glennon our school chaplain and a member of the Board of Management. Fr Paul has been a big part of our school community over the last two years and a weekly visitor to the classes. We wish him all the very best in his new parish in New York, USA. He will always be a welcome visitor to Scoil Moibhi.
  • School Reopens Friday 1st September

    The school will reopen on Friday 1st of September. The school is open to receive pupils from 8:50 and classes begin at 9:15.

     

    All children will go home at 12 o'clock on the first day to facilitate a staff meeting. 

  • Construction Of New Building Has Started

    We are delighted that construction work has now started on our new building. It marks an exciting phase in the history of our school. This will see the construction of 2 mainstream classrooms, Resource Room, Staffroom, Principal's office, Universal Access Toilet and Facilities and staff toilets. We will keep you updated on the works in the gallery section of the website. 

  • Celebration Mass

    On Monday 26th of June we had a celebration mass to mark the Graduation of 6th class and the retirement of Ms Mary Whitty after 26 years in the school. The mass was held in The Hills Cricket Club and it was a fantastic occasion. Many thanks to all those who made the day so memorable. 
  • Concern Debates Fun Day

    On Tuesday 20th of June the debating team took part in a Fun Day in Drumcondra Education Centre. The day was run by Concern's development education staff. All the children  received certificates for participating in this years league.
  • New Books For School Library

    The books purchased from the proceeds of the Book Fair have arrived. Last year we purchased books suitable for Junior to Senior Infants. This year we purchased books suitable for 3rd to 6th Class. Each year we will continue to grow our library.
