Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
It is with regret but warm wishes that we announce the retirement of the school's Deputy Principal Ms Mary Whitty. Mary has been an esteemed member of the teaching staff here for the last 26 years and she will be greatly missed by the pupils and her colleagues alike.
We invite you to attend a mass on Monday 26th of June in the Hills Cricket Club at 1 pm to mark her retirement. We know you will all join us in wishing Mary well as she starts a new and exciting chapter in her life.
On Thursday 15th June the school held a Cardiac First Response course. The course was delivered by Mr Ronnie Horan of Irish Water Safety. The school now has five members of staff and one member of the Board of Management trained in the use of CPR and use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Many thanks to Ms Whitty for organising and coordinating the course.
Our trained first response group are: Mr Tyndall, Ms Whitty, Ms Smith, Ms Gilroy, Ms Boyle and Mr McGuinness (BOM).
The AED is located in Mr Tyndall's room.
