Big Beach Clean September 2021

The Big Beach Clean which is an annual call-to-action organized by Clean Coasts that calls volunteers from communities all over Ireland getting involved to remove litter from our beautiful coast at the end of the bathing season, as part of the International Coastal Clean-up (ICC), operated internationally by Ocean Conservancy.

5th & 6th Class got involved on Friday 16th September. They removed litter Loughshinny-Drumanagh area

The Mental Health Sub Group of FCYPSC have been working on a video "Who am I?" Young people talking about their experience of early teen years, a video and education resource. This piece of work was commissioned by Fingal CYPSC and created by Jigsaw Fingal North.

This video was produced to present a message of encouragement to young people, and to normalize the experience of early adolescence. It can be used on its own, or as part of a number of other programmes used in 6th class and other settings with 10/11/12 year olds.

Mayor of Fingal, Cllr David Healy will formally launch the report online at 12pm Saturday October the 10^th. Other speakers at the event include young people involved in creating the video, David Creed, Service Manager Jigsaw North Fingal, Eilidh McNab, area Manager Tusla North Dublin and Maeve Corish, Principal of Donabate Portrane Educate Together National School.
