Swimming Lessons
The Scoil Moibhi Parents Association runs swimming lessons for pupils during the school year. The lessons run on Thursday afternoons from 3.20pm to 4.00pm. At present we have 4 terms that run for 6 weeks each term. The cost is determined by the number of pupils that sign up for each term. The Parents Association organises all lessons on a non-profit scheme.
The lessons are run at Aura Leisure Centre, Drogheda and is run similarly to the Aura's Swim Academy. For the 2011/12 session Aura Leisure Drogheda are offering a free assessment which your child can take during the summer holiday, this enables us to group children into the same ability group.
The advanced group will be taking part in the 'Rookie Lifeguard Course' for the last two terms. Further details and levels can be obtained from the Aura Leisure Centre Swimming Team.
