CONFIRMATION CLASS 2012
Date for Confirmation: Saturday 24th March 2012
In preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation there will be a special focus on Confirmation at the following 6pm Saturday evening Masses :-
26th November '11 - Ritual 1 "Fan the Flame" + Commitment Ceremony
17th December '11 - Ritual 2 "Witness to the Spirit"
14th January '12 - Ritual 3 "Affirming our Baptism"
11th February '12 - Ritual 4 "Called by Name"
10th March '12 - Ritual 5 "Blessed with Oil"
Wednesday 21st March '12 - Ceremony of Light 6pm
It is important that your child attends these Masses, if possible, as they will be taking an active part in the Rituals as part of thier Confirmation preparation.
A short practice will be held in the church on the Thursday afternoon prior to the Masses. It is hoped that each child wil be able to attend one practice and take an active part in at least one ritual over the coming months.

In following with previous years the parents of 3rd class assist the Parents Assoication with the teas/coffee/cakes on the day of the Holy Communion. If you wish to offer your help please contact any of the Parents Association Committee.
